Clinical nutrition for the family physician
Clinical nutrition in family
practice
A series of articles for family physician taken from an Australian medical publication. A new topic every month:
-
Nutrition and family medicine
- What do we know about nutrition and the practice of family physicians? This review article looks at the Australian situation, but the information is relevant to any Western country.
-
ABC Radio Health Reports
- Transcripts from this excellent radio series from Australia. A number of interesting nutrition issues are addressed, often in interviews with researchers involved in the area. Some examples:
American
Journal of Clinical Nutrition
Abstracts of last few issues, plus information on
the journal and requirements for submitting.
Ed
Frielander's path lecture notes on nutritional disease
The inimitable Prof.Frielander turns his down-to-earth
approach to pathological diagnosis to the subject of nutritional disease,
vitamin supplementation etc.
Karolinska Institute: web sources of
information on nutritional disorders
Web articles on various clinical topics, under disease-based
classification, including such disorders as hyper and avitaminoses, diabetes, Gaucher's
disease etc.. Great idea, but not clear what standard and authority the articles themselves
are.
