The Arbor Nutrition Guide offers the world's most comprehensive catalogue of nutrition resources on the Internet, with nearly 1,000 sites and other resources listed in an extensive catalogue designed for easy navigation. As well as linking to other sites, the Guide provides a series of articles on clinical nutrition designed for physicians and lists of nutrition mailing lists, nutrition and nutrition-related journals. It is brought to you by Arbor Communications, company specialising in nutrition communication, particularly on the Internet.
How to use this site
Begin by looking at the search page to see how to locate nutrition information easily. Then move to the home pages for nutrition in government, nutrition departments at university, and other nutrition organisations.
The Clinical nutrition section contains links to sites with material on nutrition deficiencies, overload and toxicity issues and a range of medical conditions relevant to nutrition, such as heart disease, obesityand wieght management, diabetes, pregnancy and pediatrics etc. This section is mainly for physicians and other helath profesionals.
The Applied Nutrition section has material on sites which deal with many other aspects of nutrition in practical implementation. For example, nutrition newsletters and journals, dietetics and dietitians, nutrition software and multi-media etc.
